All that work we put in decorating for Christmas and then the New Year pops up right behind it!
If you're the type that just HAS to decorate specifically for each and every holiday (ahem...us), here's a few examples of ways to do just that for the New Year!
The cool thing is, that in most cases, you can just switch out a few key items from the Christmas decor, leave the rest, and VOILA, you have a beautiful display.
Note the theme of the clocks in all these pictures.
There's nothing that says "future" like a clock!!!
The New Year's Mantle
What a beautiful way to incorporate some New Year's charm into an existing Christmas mantle.
In this photo you can see that the designer simply added a few vintage clocks and a lovely framed "2014" to represent the upcoming year.
This is a very elegant way to transition into New Year's decor.
The New Year's Tree
Did you put up a Christmas tree this year?
If so, then you're in luck.
Don't take it down after Christmas...
Just add a few cutout numbers and clocks, and you've got yourself a NEW YEAR'S TREE!
The Clock Collection
Adding large hanging clocks like these Vintage NOS Paper Clock Faces, adds instant interest and makes a bold statement!!!
The Time For Dinner Setting
A bottle of champagne and a few adjustments to your table setting make this dining room scene perfect for the holiday.
The Time Tray
Is there anything a vintage tray is not good for?!
We love this enchanting arrangement of clocks placed upon a vintage doily.
The Sophisticates Champagne Bar
Chalkboard painted walls are all the rage these days.
And for good reason.
How sophisticated this arrangement becomes placed among this dark background.
We especially love the vintage decanters and champagne flutes ready to entertain.
Now Ready, Set, PARTY!
Take this inspiration and have some fun creating a look of your own this holiday.
